Do not be wise in your own eyes;(A)
    fear the Lord(B) and shun evil.(C)
This will bring health to your body(D)
    and nourishment to your bones.(E)

Honor the Lord with your wealth,
    with the firstfruits(F) of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled(G) to overflowing,
    and your vats will brim over with new wine.(H)

11 My son,(I) do not despise the Lord’s discipline,(J)
    and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,(K)
