6 (A)Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and (B)they bit the people, so that (C)many people of Israel died. 7 (D)So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; (E)intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people. 8 Then the Lord said to Moses, “[a]Make a (F)fiery serpent, and put it on a flag pole; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, and looks at it, will live.”

6 Then the Lord sent venomous snakes(A) among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.(B) 7 The people came to Moses(C) and said, “We sinned(D) when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord(E) will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed(F) for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole;(G) anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”

7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
