4 “This is what the Lord of the Heavenly Armies says: ‘There will yet be old men and old women sitting in the parks[a] of Jerusalem, each one of them holding canes in their hands due to their old age! 5 The city parks[b] will be filled with boys and girls. They will play in the city’s[c] open parks.’
6 “This is what the Lord of the Heavenly Armies says: ‘It may seem impossible to the survivors of this people, but is it impossible for me?’ declares the Lord of the Heavenly Armies.

4 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem,(A) each of them with cane in hand because of their age. 5 The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.(B)”
6 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “It may seem marvelous to the remnant of this people at that time,(C) but will it seem marvelous to me?(D)” declares the Lord Almighty.
