The Lord of Armies says this: “Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age. The streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in them.” The Lord of Armies says this: “Though it may seem impossible to the remnant of this people in those days, should it also seem impossible to me?”—this is the declaration of the Lord of Armies.

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem,(A) each of them with cane in hand because of their age. The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.(B)

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “It may seem marvelous to the remnant of this people at that time,(C) but will it seem marvelous to me?(D)” declares the Lord Almighty.
