7 For none of us lives to himself. Nor does anyone die to himself.
8 For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord: Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
9 For to this end Christ died and rose again, and revived, so that He might be Lord, both of the dead and the living.

7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone,(A) and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.(B) 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life(C) so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.(D)
