7 Let us be glad, rejoice, and give Him glory,(A)
because the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and His wife has prepared herself.
8 She was given fine linen to wear, bright and pure.(B)
For the fine linen represents the righteous acts of the saints.(C)
9 Then he[a] said to me,(D) “Write: Those invited to the marriage feast(E) of the Lamb are fortunate!” He also said to me, “These words of God are true.”

7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!(A)
For the wedding of the Lamb(B) has come,
and his bride(C) has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen,(D) bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts(E) of God’s holy people.)
9 Then the angel said to me,(F) “Write this:(G) Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!”(H) And he added, “These are the true words of God.”(I)
