2 [a]The kings of the earth have had intercourse with her,(A) and the inhabitants of the earth became drunk on the wine of her harlotry.” 3 Then he carried me away in spirit to a deserted place where I saw a woman seated on a scarlet beast[b] that was covered with blasphemous names, with seven heads and ten horns.(B) 4 The woman was wearing purple and scarlet and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls.(C) She held in her hand a gold cup that was filled with the abominable and sordid deeds of her harlotry.

2 With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”(A)
3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit(B) into a wilderness.(C) There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet(D) beast that was covered with blasphemous names(E) and had seven heads and ten horns.(F) 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls.(G) She held a golden cup(H) in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.(I)
