Psalm 106:27-29

²⁷and would disperse their descendants^[a]
among the nations,
scattering them throughout the lands.^(A)

²⁸They aligned themselves with Baal of Peor
and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods.^[b]^(B)
²⁹They angered the Lord with their deeds,
and a plague broke out against them.^(C)
