3 O Lord, my God,
    I called to you and you healed me.[a]
4 O Lord, you lifted me up from the netherworld;[b]

3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;(A)
    you spared me from going down to the pit.(B)

4 Sing(C) the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;(D)
    praise his holy name.(E)
5 For his anger(F) lasts only a moment,(G)
    but his favor lasts a lifetime;(H)
weeping(I) may stay for the night,
    but rejoicing comes in the morning.(J)
