Psalm 24:6-8

6 because they worship and serve
    the God of Jacob.[a]
7 Open the ancient gates,
so that the glorious king
    may come in.

8 Who is this glorious king?
He is our Lord, a strong
    and mighty warrior.

6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
    who seek your face,(A) God of Jacob.[a][b]

7 Lift up your heads, you gates;(B)
    be lifted up, you ancient doors,
    that the King(C) of glory(D) may come in.(E)
8 Who is this King of glory?
    The Lord strong and mighty,(F)
    the Lord mighty in battle.(G)
