New American Standard Bible

3 For the wicked (A)boasts of his (B)soul’s desire,
And [a]the greedy person curses and (C)shows disrespect to the Lord.
4 The wicked, [b]in his haughtiness, (D)does not seek Him.
(E)There is no God in all his schemes.

5 His ways (F)succeed at all times;
Yet Your judgments are on high, (G)out of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he snorts at them.

    he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.(B)
4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
    in all his thoughts there is no room for God.(C)
5 His ways are always prosperous;
    your laws are rejected by[a] him;
    he sneers at all his enemies.
