⁶ Nations^(A) are in uproar,^(B) kingdoms^(C) fall;
    he lifts his voice,^(D) the earth melts.^(E)

⁷ The Lord Almighty^(F) is with us;^(G)
    the God of Jacob^(H) is our fortress.^(I)

⁸ Come and see what the Lord has done,^(J)
    the desolations^(K) he has brought on the earth.
⁹ He makes wars^(L) cease
    to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow^(M) and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shields^[a] with fire.^(N)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;^(O)
    I will be exalted^(P) among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”
