Psalm 82:3

³Defend the weak and the fatherless;^(A)
uphold the cause of the poor^(B) and the oppressed.

King James Version

³Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

²²Do not exploit the poor^(A) because they are poor
and do not crush the needy in court,^(B)

²²Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:

⁵lest they drink^(A) and forget what has been decreed,^(B)
and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

⁵Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
