Psalm 4:3

New International Version

³Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant^(A) for himself;
the Lord hears^(B) when I call to him.

King James Version

³But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.

⁹if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials^(A) and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.^(B)

⁹The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
