Psalm 31:13

¹³For I hear many whispering,^(A)
“Terror on every side!”^(B)
They conspire against me^(C)
and plot to take my life.^(D)

¹³For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

⁹In you are slanderers^(A) who are bent on shedding blood;^(B) in you are those who eat at the mountain shrines^(C) and commit lewd acts.^(D)

⁹In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
