⁶Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,^(A)
for they are from of old.

⁴who redeems your life^(A) from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,^(B)

⁴Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

⁷⁸because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun^(A) will come to us from heaven
