⁶Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.

⁶You shame the counsel of the poor,
But the Lord is his ^(A)refuge.

¹⁶Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

¹⁶Then I said:

“Wisdom is better than ^(A)strength.
Nevertheless ^(B)the poor man’s wisdom is despised,
And his words are not heard.
