Proverbs 15:3-5

English Standard Version

³^(A)The eyes of the Lord are in every place,
    keeping watch on the evil and the good.
⁴^(B)A gentle^[a] tongue is ^(C)a tree of life,
    but ^(D)perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
⁵^(E)A fool ^(F)despises his father's instruction,
    but ^(G)whoever heeds reproof is prudent.
