Proverbs 28:27

²⁷Those who give to the poor will lack nothing,^(A)
but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses.^(B)

Proverbs 28:27

²⁷He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

¹³But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,^(A)

¹³But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

¹⁴and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”^(A)

¹⁴And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
