¹³He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

²⁰Listen to advice and accept discipline,^(A)
and at the end you will be counted among the wise.^(B)

²⁰Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

¹⁹My dear brothers and sisters,^(A) take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak^(B) and slow to become angry,
