2 They came in front of Moses, together with some of the sons of Israel. They had chosen 250 leaders of the people of Israel, well-known men. 3 They all gathered together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “You have gone too far! For all the people are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. So why do you honor yourselves more than the people of the Lord?”
4 When Moses heard this, he bowed to the ground.

2 and rose up against Moses.(A) With them were 250 Israelite men, well-known community leaders who had been appointed members of the council.(B) 3 They came as a group to oppose Moses and Aaron(C) and said to them, “You have gone too far! The whole community is holy,(D) every one of them, and the Lord is with them.(E) Why then do you set yourselves above the Lord’s assembly?”(F)
4 When Moses heard this, he fell facedown.(G)
