²⁴“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice^(B) is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

²⁴Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

²⁸He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God^(A) and obey it.”^(B)

²⁸But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

²²Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.^(A)

²²But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
