Luke 19:37-39
Contemporary English Version
37 When Jesus started down the Mount of Olives, his large crowd of disciples were happy and praised God because of all the miracles they had seen. 38 (A) They shouted,
“Blessed is the king who comes
in the name of the Lord!
Peace in heaven
and glory to God.”
39 Some Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, make your disciples stop shouting!”

37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives,(A) the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”(C)
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”(D)
