Luke 13:6

⁶Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.^(A)

⁶He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

⁹If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

⁹And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
