6 Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,(A) “Do not let your hair become unkempt[a](B) and do not tear your clothes,(C) or you will die and the Lord will be angry with the whole community.(D) But your relatives, all the Israelites, may mourn(E) for those the Lord has destroyed by fire. 7 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting(F) or you will die, because the Lord’s anointing oil(G) is on you.” So they did as Moses said.
8 Then the Lord said to Aaron, 9 “You and your sons are not to drink wine(H) or other fermented drink(I) whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance(J) for the generations to come,

6 And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lord hath kindled.
7 And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the Lord is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.
8 And the Lord spake unto Aaron, saying,
9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
