Judges 1:18-20
New English Translation
18 The men of Judah captured Gaza, Ashkelon, Ekron, and the territory surrounding each of these cities.[a]
19 The Lord was with the men of Judah. They conquered[b] the hill country, but they could not[c] conquer the people living in the coastal plain, because they had chariots with iron-rimmed wheels.[d] 20 Caleb received[e] Hebron, just as Moses had promised. He drove out the three Anakites.

Judges 1:18-20
New International Version
18 Judah also took[a] Gaza,(A) Ashkelon(B) and Ekron—each city with its territory.
19 The Lord was with(C) the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country,(D) but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had chariots fitted with iron.(E) 20 As Moses had promised, Hebron(F) was given to Caleb, who drove from it the three sons of Anak.(G)
