⁷ “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey^(A) all the law^(B) my servant Moses^(C) gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left,^(D) that you may be successful wherever you go.^(E)

¹¹ “Amariah the chief priest will be over you in any matter concerning the Lord, and Zebadiah son of Ishmael, the leader of the tribe of Judah, will be over you in any matter concerning the king, and the Levites will serve as officials before you. Act with courage,^(A) and may the Lord be with those who do well.”

⁸ Do not be afraid^(A) of them, for I am with you^(B) and will rescue^(C) you,” declares the Lord.^(D)

⁹ I will make your forehead^(A) like the hardest stone, harder than flint.^(B) Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.^(C)”
