John 9:7-9
Revised Geneva Translation
7 And He said to him, “Go. Wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent).” Therefore, he went and washed, and came back seeing.
8 Now, the neighbors, and those who had seen him before, when he was blind, said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”
9 Some said, “This is he.” And others said, “He is like him.” But he himself said, “I am he!”

7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”(A) (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.(B)
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”(C) 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
