John 9:7-9
New Life Version
7 Then Jesus said to him, “Go and wash in the pool of Siloam.” (Siloam means Sent.) The man went away and washed. When he came back, he could see.
8 Neighbors and others had seen him begging. They said, “Is not this the man who sat and begged?” 9 Some said, “This is the one.” Others said, “No, but he looks like him.” But the man who had been blind said, “I am the man.”

7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”(A) (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.(B)
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”(C) 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
