John 9:7-9
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated “Sent”[a]). So he went away and washed, and came[b] [back] seeing. 8 Then the neighbors, and the ones seeing him formerly— because[c] he was a beggar— were saying “Is not this the one sitting and begging?” 9 Others were saying that “This is he”. Others were saying, “No, but he is like him”. That one was saying that “I am he”.

7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”(A) (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.(B)
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”(C) 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
