36 While ye have that light, believe in that light, that ye may be the [a]children of the light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and hid himself from them.
37 ¶ [b]And though he had done so many miracles before them, yet believed they not on him,
38 That the saying of Isaiah the Prophet might be fulfilled, that he said, (A)Lord, who believed our report? and to whom is the [c]arm of the Lord revealed?

36 Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.”(A) When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.(B)

37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs(C) in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:
