³⁸For I have come down from heaven^(A) not to do my will but to do the will^(B) of him who sent me.^(C)

³⁸For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

⁹Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”^(A) He sets aside the first to establish the second.

⁹Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
