²⁹Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

¹⁶He spreads the snow^(A) like wool
and scatters the frost^(B) like ashes.

¹⁶He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

¹⁷He hurls down his hail^(A) like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?

¹⁷He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
