37 Thus says Yahweh, “If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, also I will reject all the offspring of Israel because of all that they have done,” declares[a] Yahweh. 38 “Look, days are coming,” declares[b] Yahweh, “and the city will be rebuilt for Yahweh, from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. 39 And the measuring line[c] will still go out immediately in front of it to the hill of Gareb, and it will turn to Goah.

37 This is what the Lord says:
“Only if the heavens above can be measured(A)
and the foundations of the earth below be searched out
will I reject(B) all the descendants of Israel
because of all they have done,”
declares the Lord.
38 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when this city will be rebuilt(C) for me from the Tower of Hananel(D) to the Corner Gate.(E) 39 The measuring line(F) will stretch from there straight to the hill of Gareb and then turn to Goah.
