Jeremiah 50:38

New International Version

³⁸A drought on^[a] her waters!^(A)
They will dry^(B) up.
For it is a land of idols,^(C)
idols that will go mad with terror.

King James Version

³⁸A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.

¹⁸But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.^(A)”

¹⁸But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
