Jeremiah 18:8

⁸and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent^(A) and not inflict on it the disaster^(B) I had planned.

⁸If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

⁵The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.^(A)
