Jeremiah 18:7

New International Version

⁷If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted,^(A) torn down and destroyed,

⁷At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

⁷The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to ^(A)pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it,

⁸and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent^(A) and not inflict on it the disaster^(B) I had planned.

⁸If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

⁸^(A)if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, ^(B)I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.
