Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked(A) before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion(B) and have done what is good in your eyes.(C)” And Hezekiah wept(D) bitterly.

Then the word(E) of the Lord came to Isaiah: “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David,(F) says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears;(G) I will add fifteen years(H) to your life.

And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
