Genesis 27:28-30
International Children’s Bible
28 May God give you plenty of rain
and good soil.
Then you will have plenty of grain and wine.
29 May nations serve you.
May peoples bow down to you.
May you be master over your brothers.
May your mother’s sons bow down to you.
May everyone who curses you be cursed.
And may everyone who blesses you be blessed.”
30 Isaac finished blessing Jacob. Then, just as Jacob left his father Isaac, Esau came in from hunting.

28 May God give you heaven’s dew(A)
and earth’s richness(B)—
an abundance of grain(C) and new wine.(D)
29 May nations serve you
and peoples bow down to you.(E)
Be lord over your brothers,
and may the sons of your mother bow down to you.(F)
May those who curse you be cursed
and those who bless you be blessed.(G)”
30 After Isaac finished blessing him, and Jacob had scarcely left his father’s presence, his brother Esau came in from hunting.
