²⁷This is the account^(A) of Terah’s family line.

Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor^(B) and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot.^(C)

²⁷Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.

²⁸While his father Terah was still alive, Haran died in Ur of the Chaldeans,^(A) in the land of his birth.

²⁸And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
