Galatians 3:12-14

12 However, the Law is not based on faith. On the contrary, whoever does these things shall live by them.
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse himself for us, as it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hung upon a tree.” 14 This is so that the blessing bestowed upon Abraham might be extended to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[a](A) 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law(B) by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[b](C) 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus,(D) so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.(E)
