The prince is to enter from the outside through the vestibule of the gate and stand by the doorposts of the gate. Then the priest must offer his burnt offerings and his peace offerings, and he shall bow down at the threshold of the gate. After this, he will go out, but the gate is not to be closed until evening. The people of the land shall worship before the Lord at the entrance of the gate on the Sabbaths and the days of the new moon.

The burnt offering that the prince offers to the Lord on the Sabbath shall consist of six lambs without blemish and one unblemished ram.

The prince is to enter from the outside through the portico(A) of the gateway and stand by the gatepost. The priests are to sacrifice his burnt offering(B) and his fellowship offerings. He is to bow down in worship at the threshold of the gateway and then go out, but the gate will not be shut until evening.(C) On the Sabbaths(D) and New Moons the people of the land are to worship in the presence of the Lord at the entrance of that gateway.(E) The burnt offering the prince brings to the Lord on the Sabbath day is to be six male lambs and a ram, all without defect.
