8 and doesn't charge interest when lending money. He refuses to do anything evil; he is fair to everyone 9 (A) and faithfully obeys my laws and teachings. This man is good, and I promise he will live.

8 He does not lend to them at interest
or take a profit from them.(A)
He withholds his hand from doing wrong
and judges fairly(B) between two parties.
9 He follows my decrees(C)
and faithfully keeps my laws.
That man is righteous;(D)
he will surely live,(E)
declares the Sovereign Lord.
