15 For by now I could have stretched out My hand, so that I might strike you and your people with pestilence, and you would be cut off from the earth. 16 But, indeed, for this cause I have raised you up, in order to show in you My power and so that My name may be declared throughout all the earth. 17 Still, you exalt yourself against My people by forbidding them to go.

15 For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people(A) with a plague that would have wiped you off the earth. 16 But I have raised you up[a] for this very purpose,(B) that I might show you my power(C) and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. 17 You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go.
