Exodus 15:21-23

21 Miriam sang to them,
Sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted.
The horse and its rider he has thrown into the sea.
The Waters of Marah and Elim
22 Then Moses led Israel on from the Red Sea, and they went out to the Wilderness of Shur. They traveled for three days in the wilderness but found no water. 23 When they came to Marah, they were not able to drink the waters of Marah, because they were bitter. That is why they named the place Marah.[a]

Exodus 15:21-23
New International Version
21 Miriam sang(A) to them:
“Sing to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver(B)
he has hurled into the sea.”(C)
The Waters of Marah and Elim
22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert(D) of Shur.(E) For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water.(F) 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.[a](G))
