26 When your children ask you, ‘What does this rite of yours mean,’ 27 you shall tell them, ‘It is the sacrifice of the Passover of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when he struck the Egyptians and spared our houses.’ ”
The people knelt down and worshiped. 28 Then the children of Israel went and did exactly what the Lord had ordered Moses and Aaron.

26 And when your children(A) ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ 27 then tell them, ‘It is the Passover(B) sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’”(C) Then the people bowed down and worshiped.(D) 28 The Israelites did just what the Lord commanded(E) Moses and Aaron.
