²⁰Then Miriam^(A) the prophet,^(B) Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels^(C) and dancing.^(D)

²⁰And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

²⁵In front are the singers,^(A) after them the musicians;^(B)
with them are the young women playing the timbrels.^(C)

²⁵The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.
