He took six hundred of the best chariots,(A) along with all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them. The Lord hardened the heart(B) of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly.(C) The Egyptians—all Pharaoh’s horses(D) and chariots, horsemen[a] and troops(E)—pursued the Israelites and overtook(F) them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.(G)

But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
