Ephesians 6:6-8
New English Translation
6 not like those who do their work only when someone is watching[a]—as people-pleasers—but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.[b] 7 Obey[c] with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lord[d] and not people, 8 because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this[e] will be rewarded by the Lord.

6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ,(A) doing the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people,(B) 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do,(C) whether they are slave or free.
