12 to the end that we who were the first to hope in [a]Christ would be (A)to the praise of His glory. 13 In [b]Him, you also, after listening to (B)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also [c]believed, you were (C)sealed in [d]Him with (D)the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is [e](E)given as a pledge of (F)our inheritance, with a view to the (G)redemption of (H)God’s own possession, (I)to the praise of His glory.
